【CANTUSについて】
2019年5月、自然豊かな北海道・札幌南円山にCANTUS（カントス）は誕生しました。
北の大地の厳しい寒さと美しい自然環境で育まれた知識、経験、技術、感覚を最大限に詰め込んだ“食”のブランドを目指し、小さな工房でひとつひとつ丁寧に手作りしています。
ドーナツ・ビスコッティ・米粉クッキーなどの商品は、一見シンプルでさりげないながらも、一度食べるとなぜかまた食べたくなる、素朴で懐かしい味わいが特徴です。
店名「CANTUS」はラテン語で「唄う」「詩」を意味します。
また、CANTUSのロゴは五線譜をモチーフにしており、食材と人が調和しながら「奏でる・歌う」という想いが込められています。
私たちの“歌声”が大地の風に乗って、いつまでもどこまでも遥か遠くまで運ばれていくことを願い、心と身体にやさしい美味しさを追求し続けています。

【CANTUSのドーナツ】
主力商品はドーナツです。
北海道産牛乳のみを使用し、生地の水分はすべて牛乳100％で仕上げています。
ドーナツに合わせて選び抜いた小麦粉と、有機JAS認定のパーム油を原料としたトランスファットフリーのオーガニックショートニングを使用。
低温熟成製法でじっくり丁寧に発酵させ、薄い皮一枚で揚がるよう温度と時間にこだわり、油を極力感じさせないふんわり軽い食感に仕上げました。
1個、2個と軽やかにお召し上がりいただけるやさしいドーナツです。
一番人気は、素朴で懐かしい味わいの「プレーンドーナツ」。
食べやすく親しみのあるツイスト型のドーナツを中心に、リングドーナツや季節限定ドーナツもご用意しています。
定番8種類を中心に、その日だけの限定ドーナツや焼菓子も登場します。

【About CANTUS】
Founded in May 2019 in the nature-rich Minami-Maruyama area of Sapporo, Hokkaido, CANTUS is a small artisan bakery dedicated to creating handcrafted sweets with care and attention every day.
Inspired by the knowledge, experience, craftsmanship, and sensibility cultivated in the beautiful yet harsh natural environment of northern Japan, we strive to create food that is simple, comforting, and memorable.
Our donuts, biscotti, rice flour cookies, and other baked goods may appear modest at first glance, but they are made to evoke a nostalgic, familiar flavor that keeps you coming back for another bite.
The name "CANTUS" comes from the Latin word meaning "song" or "poem."
Our logo, inspired by a musical staff, symbolizes the harmony between people and ingredients coming together to create something that sings.
Like a song carried by the wind across the vast northern landscape, we hope our creations travel far and wide, bringing comfort and joy wherever they go.
We continue to pursue delicious food that is gentle on both the heart and body.

【Our Signature Donuts】
Our signature product is our handmade donut.
Made exclusively with Hokkaido milk, the dough contains 100% milk as its moisture source, resulting in a rich yet delicate flavor.
We carefully select flour specifically suited for our donuts and use trans-fat-free organic shortening made from Organic JAS-certified palm oil.
Using a low-temperature fermentation process, the dough is slowly matured to develop flavor and texture.
Each donut is fried with precise control of time and temperature to achieve a thin, delicate crust and a light, airy texture with minimal oiliness.
The result is a soft, fluffy donut that you can enjoy one after another.
Our most popular flavor is the Plain Donut, loved for its simple and nostalgic taste.
In addition to our signature twist donuts, we also offer ring donuts, seasonal specialties, and limited-edition creations throughout the year.
